A Twenty-first Century icon
We’re going to be honest; we love working on something iconic. And in the world of luxury food and drink, very little is more iconic than the spectacular Food Halls at Harrods.
Finally in May 2021, after a nine-month pandemic-caused delay, the new Chocolate Hall opened, completing the multi-million pound, seven year refurbishment of all four Food Halls. We are bursting with pride that our beautiful designs for the packaging are taking centre stage.
Harrods is famous throughout the world for being the home of super brands, so our aim was to create a super brand out of chocolate. We wanted the design philosophy to follow the principles of a super brand and we created the same opulent look and feel by using beautiful materials, beautiful brand pattern and the big ‘H’ monogram.
We also needed to work with the jaw-dropping architecture. The fabric of the Grade I-listed rooms, beautifully reimagined by David Collins Studio, is incredibly impressive and we have created something that echoes the grandeur of the Hall and is contextualised within it, so that customers get a seamless, indulgent Harrods story.
